Léonie is a climber from Québec who has called Nelson home for the past couple of years. When she’s not climbing, you’ll find her working as a physiotherapist. With plenty of adventures and stories to share, Léonie had a great one in mind for us.

Rainy days in the forest, windy days on mountain ridges, powerful storms by the ocean, and snowy nights under a vast sky… Chantal finds beauty and adventure in all of it.

In her story, she shares some cherished moments (and maybe a few struggles) of raising three beautiful humans in the outdoors, and rediscovering these wild places together, again and again

Sophie is a registered nurse based in Nelson with a love for getting outside, whether it be skiing, hiking, biking or sailing. She loves taking on new challenges, and did just that last summer, when her response to some major life changes was to bike across the country. Along the way, she enjoyed a deeper connection with people and places, and came home with considerably more stories than she left with.
